Overview

This is a personal finance management application developed and used solely by Hollis Akins for tracking personal financial accounts and expenses.

Data Collection

This application collects:

• Financial account information via Plaid API (account balances, transaction history)
• User-provided transaction categorization and notes
• Authentication credentials (email/password) for application access

No third-party user data is collected. This application is for personal use only by the owner.

Data Usage

Data is used exclusively for personal financial tracking, expense categorization, reimbursement management, and shared expense tracking by the application owner.

Data Sharing

• No financial data is sold or shared with third parties
• Financial data is only shared with Plaid Inc. for the purpose of retrieving transaction information from connected financial institutions

Data Security

• All data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption
• All data transmission uses TLS 1.3 encryption (HTTPS)
• Data is stored on SOC2 Type II compliant infrastructure (Supabase)
• Access to application and data is restricted to the owner only
• Multi-factor authentication is enabled on all infrastructure platforms (hosting, database, code repository)

Data Retention

Transaction data is retained indefinitely for personal financial record-keeping purposes. Data can be deleted at any time by the application owner.

Third-Party Services

This application uses the following third-party services:

• Plaid - Financial data aggregation and account linking
• Vercel - Application hosting
• Supabase - Database and authentication services

Your Rights

As the sole user of this application, you (the owner) maintain complete control over all data. You may access, modify, or delete any data at any time through the application interface or by directly accessing the database.

Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
